down the St. Lawrence River to Quebec City stopped at Rimouski to take a 
river pilot on board. Apparently, while stopped at Rimouski, some passengers 
disembarked there, in particular those destined for the Maritime provinces, 
including some children sent by the Middlemore Homes."
