LAC/Heritage Canada Documents - Page under construction
A new archive of information has been released on the Heritage Canada site. This is a very complex and complicated index to follow along with. Efforts are being made to transcribe these documents and have them available in the BHCARA Registry and the Library and Archives Canada BHC Index. Researches are combing through the index and are posting information in our Facebook Page. The information is very time consuming and a lot posted. This index is being listed so persons searching for these BHC will know that something has been posted in our group.
Below each name or set of names found is the link to the Heritage Canada site where this information is found.
If you find your BHC in this index, click on the BHCARA Facebook Group button and enter the name in the search bar for the group. The posting should pop up
This information has been indexed by Georgina Sales, Diane McGregor and Lori Oschefski

In reply to yours of the 9th inst, I have to report that the boy who recently appeard before the Magistrate was named Albert Clinton, who has become uncontrollable and committed an assult upon a boy inmate by throwing a boot at his head, and defied my authority, for this I am obliged to seek protection, the result being that the Magisstrate has called upon the boy to receive assistance on the 13th unless he improves in the manwhile. I am happy to say that his is pleased with Mrs. LaRose of Billings Bridge, who understands he has to appear on the 13th and the effect of the Magistrate's talking to him has, I think been such that i have no hesitations in believing he will be discharged, the boy is thoroughly repontant (?)
